Join Helga Christoffersen, Assistant Curator, for a visit to the Brooklyn studio of painter Nicole Eisenman. Eisenman will present a solo exhibition at the New Museum, which will open on May 4, 2016. She was recently awarded a MacArthur Fellowship for restoring “to the representation of the human form a cultural significance that had waned during the ascendancy of abstraction in the twentieth century.” Round-trip transportation will be provided from the New Museum. RSVP by March 2 to councilevents@newmuseum.org or 212.219.1222 ×270.
