Join fellow Producers Council Members on June 9 at the home of New Museum Board President James Keith Brown and Eric Diefenbach for a conversation led by Johanna Burton, Keith Haring Director and Curator of Education and Public Engagement, about the roles that “traditional” musical forms can take within the contemporary art sphere. Joseph Keckler and Jeanine Oleson (two artists who have both participated in the ongoing VOICE Season this spring at the New Museum) join Burton to discuss, among other things: opera, craft, technical training, connoisseurship, and the vital role that audiences play in shaping art today.
Address will be sent upon RSVP. Kindly RSVP to cquinlan@newmuseum.org or 212.219.1222 ×270.
