Join Margot Norton, Assistant Curator, for a studio visit with “NYC 1993” featured artist Andres Serrano. Serrano’s work consistently explores the limits of media and subject matter ̶ most notably with his macabre morgue photographs, as well as the controversial piece Immersion (Piss Christ) which was publicly condemned by Senator Jesse Helms in 1989. Location details will be provided upon RSVP. RSVP to lcasale@newmuseum.org by April 11.
