Spend your Friday evening at the New Museum for a special last-chance private viewing of “The Keeper,” which closes on Sunday, September 25. The exhibition brings together a variety of imaginary museums, personal collections, and unusual assemblages, including Ydessa Hendeles’s Partners (The Teddy Bear Project) (2002), an installation composed of over 3,000 family-album photographs of people posing with teddy bears and vitrines containing antique teddy bears. The New York Times proclaimed that “every piece is a masterwork in its right.”
Please RSVP by September 20 to membership@newmuseum.org or 212.219.1222 ×234.
